About Clear Concepts

Nicolas Cohn-Lopez founded Clear Concepts Tutoring in January 2015 after graduating from the University of California Santa Barbara. During his freshman year of high school, he started helping his peers understand math concepts. That is when Nicolas realized that not only did he have a knack for tutoring, but he also enjoyed it. While at UCSB, he worked for 1½ years as a math and physics tutor at the drop-in room for the Campus Learning Assistance Services.

Nicolas earned his degree in English with a minor in physics. His diverse educational background allows him to tutor a range of subjects – from English and writing to math and physics.

No matter what a student’s level, as long as he or she is willing to learn, improvement will follow.
